CSI - Crime Scene Insects

1st National Forensic Entomology Workshop was held in IMR KL on the 11th - 12th March 2009. Best ooo...ada banyak bende yang kitorang belajar termasuk la nak tentukan PMI (Post mortem interval), berapa hari minimum mangsa mati, di manakah the actual crime scene (adakah body telah dialihkan)....things like that. It was such a great experience...kalo ada buat lagi yang advance course macam ni memang aku akan join lagi.
Thanks to Dr Fatimah sebab bagi kebenaran aku attend workshop ni n berangan-angan nak jadi Grissom dalam CSI Las Vegas tu...
As usual, thanks to hubby sebab tolong aku dlm fasa post processing...

Anopheles on MP-E 65mm 1-5X

A visit to EOS Pro Centre at Level 9, Berjaya Times Square, KL to try out my dream lens.
Thanks to Mr Wong Wee Kong for his time n his MP-E 65mm 1-5X lens together with the MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite Ringlite Flash (3 times magnification). The whole process in producing above picture was not as easy as expected. It took a lot of great skills, patience and state of the art equipment to get this shot. However, I know that this is not the best picture but I consider this experience as a great exposure for my future project.
Last but not least, thanks to hubby for his effort in the post processing phase.
Actual size of the Anopheles, taken by 18-55mm with close up filter +4 attached.
